THE POWER OF GOD – AS OF OLD

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…”
— Acts 1:8 (NKJV).

“The power of God did not end with the Apostles—it is still available to those who are filled with the Holy Spirit.”

✨ Main Message

In the early Church, the Apostles moved in extraordinary power—healing the sick, raising the dead, and performing great wonders. Thiswas not by human strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit working through them, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles.

That same power promised in Acts 1:8 was never intended for a select few. It was given as divine enablement for all believers to live impactful, effective, and victorious lives.

Today, God is still seeking vessels through whom His power can flow. The real challenge is not the absence of power, but often the absence of hunger, faith, and complete surrender.

When we yield ourselves fully to the Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the same boldness, authority, and supernatural workings that characterized the early believers.

The power as of old is still present—it simply requires willing and yielded hearts.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, fill me afresh with the Holy Spirit. Let Your power flow through me as in the days of the Apostles, and make me a vessel of signs, wonders, and lasting impact, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Am I truly yielded and expectant for the power of the Holy Spirit to work through me?

Set aside intentional time daily to seek a deeper infilling of the Holy Spirit through prayer and study of the Word.
